VACES-Car Scanner
VACEStm is an under-carriage vehicle scanning system that is designed to provide
security personnel with an effective and reliable method of examining the
vehicle under-side/carriages. VACEStm provides the security operator with a
vivid, high resolution single image of the undercarriage within seconds after
the vehicle has been driven over the scanner. The image is displayed on a
visual display system, where the operator is able to examine the image using
image-enhancement features.
VACEStm can be deployed to identify under-vehicle improvised explosive device
(UIED), suspicious packages in authorized VIP or high valued good vehicles
entering a secure/sensitive area. With advanced image processing tools,
security personnel can further examine the under-carriage by reviewing the
previous archived image of the vehicle. VACEStm can be used to examine vehicles
of any sizes (including trucks and containers).
