Database Encryption

The Tricryption solution is very comprehensive and flexible yet simple to operate and install. The ability to build-in different data security functions in the future and not invalidate this implementation is very convenient. The Tricryption system elements include the Tricryption AppServer Agent which runs on the database application server and the Tricryption KeyServer which manages the key centrally.

Features:

  • Database supported: RDBMS's (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Database Query Structures: Data query and result reporting formats unaffected and unchanged
  • Ease of use: Transparent to end user
  • Utilizes Database Server User Access (Authentication and Authorization) Mechanisms for Enhanced Performance. Decryption read function extremly efficient, minimal latencies.
  • Scalable Solution: Scales out to meet the response need of database application query loading and use
  • Transaction Logging: Centralized logging can be associated to database applications and tools or individual users depending on the access implementation and control list use.
  • Seamless Integration: Effectively integrates with the Tricryption File Security Solution for Workstations, Laptops, Thin Clients, Web Servers, and Automated Servers, to include reuse of existing Key Servers
  • Implementation Simplicity: Although modifications to Database Applications are required, the changes are not kernel intrusive and are simple to accomplish.
