i-Travel
i-Travel is an application that allows automated check in by importing
pre-flight passenger’s list and destinations from aviation system. It permits 3
levels of security log in namely; User, Manager and Administrator which impose
certain restriction on what each group of users can performed with the
application.
1) The first page the user will start using is "Front Desk" tab.
2) At the "Front Desk", the passenger passport will be scanned and their details
will be shown on the screen and their picture will be taken on the spot.
3) The picture below shows the different way of viewing passsengers who have
checked in. The user can view it in HTML format(List form), view more
details of each passenger and U.S ASCII (Text) APIS format.
4) The user can search for the passenger that has checked into for a particular
flight.
5) At the boarding gate, the passenger passport will be scanned again to get the
passport ID. The application will telly if the current passenger boarding is
the same as the passenger who checked in at the check-in counter.
