with skin biometrics, FaceIt® technology has reached exceptional levels of
performance, and with this SDK you now have all the tools to integrate this
cutting-edge technology in a fast and easy way. The FaceIt® SDK contains
modules for face finding, template creation, quality analysis and 1:1, 1:N and
watchlist searches packaged in a simple C application programming interface
(API).
FaceIt® SDK Components:
FaceIt Processing Library: Contains the elements that
encapsulate FaceIt® technology and its supplemental functionality, including
face finding, quality analysis, template creation, verification, identification
and watchlist modules.
Media Processing Library: Two modules that allow processing of
still and live images that are used for facial matching.
Sample Applications: Three source-code sample applications that
demonstrate image capture, verification (1:1 matching) and identification (1:N
searching).
All technology in simple C API for compatibility with Microsoft C and C++.
Compatible with Microsoft Video for Windows (VfW) and DirectShow capture
systems. Supports standard .jpeg, jpeg 2000, .tiff, .gif files and
frame capture from .avi and .mpeg files.
SDK package includes free hot-fixes, service packs and minor point
updates. Run time licenses at additional cost depending on application.
FaceIt® G6 is unique among facial recognition technologies in that this
generation of the technology contains three algorithms, which get fused
together to yield maximum accuracy:

VECTOR FEATURE ANALYSIS (VFA): Very high speed; optimized for low-resolution
images.

LOCAL FEATURE ANALYSIS (LFA): Based on facial geometry information; optimized
for low to medium resolution images.

SURFACE TEXTURE ANALYSIS (STA): Based on skin texture microfeatures; optimized
for higher resolution images.
